As parents of the sixth grade girls, we have already begun the Bat Mitzvah season.It is a special time full of excitement and joy.Our daughters will I”H be attending many Bat Mitzvah parties this coming year for girls in their grade.In lieu of purchasing individual gifts, each girl will be presented with one large gift from the entire grade at the Bat Mitzvah breakfast, thus eliminating the expense and time consuming task of having to shop for a gift for each girl in the grade.
This year’s breakfast will I”H take place on Sunday, March 14, 2010.Each girl will receive a beautiful and meaningful gift to cherish as a lasting memento from her friends at HALB.A payment of $250 will cover the cost of a gift for each girl.We welcome contributions to the Bat Mitzvah Gift Fund to aid families with covering the cost of this gift.Anyone requiring financial assistance or payment options may contact Rabbi Klammer. The gift for your daughter will be your choice of one of the following items:1.A set of five leather bound Art Scroll Machzorim, with your daughter’s name engraved on each Machzor. 2.Choice from Siman-Tov Fine Jewelers – Pearl and gold necklace & pearl earrings; or Michelle Urban Petite or Mini Deco watch with color choice of leather band. (Both watches and jewelry can be viewed at Siman-Tov Fine Jewelers on Central Avenue or on HALB’s website.)3.$250 Israel bond4.A sterling silver gift from PJ Sterling with your daughter’s name engraved - choice of menorah, tzedaka box, or 2 styles of candlesticks.
