Dear Parents of the Senior Class, As the senior grade is approaching graduation from DRS, we are looking forward to publishing an amazing yearbook that will reflect the accomplishments and milestones of this exceptional group of young men. We are already working hard to produce a yearbook that each parent and student will be proud of and cherish as a memory of their high school experience. The bond shared by the students, parents and faculty will be highlighted and preserved in this senior yearbook and will become a fond reminder of our DRS experience. In order to successfully raise the funds to produce the senior yearbook, each senior must bring in a minimum of one full-page ad costing $275.00. It would be a wonderful accomplishment if all our senior parents contributed a message in honor of their son’s graduation to mark the culmination of his high school experience and primary years of development. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends of your son are encouraged to place ads as a lasting message to your son. If there is a financial issue, please call Rabbi Brazil at (516) 295 –7700 extension 111. Yearbook pictures will take place on Tuesday, November 6th and Wednesday, November 7th at a cost of $50.00. It is mandatory that students wear a suit and tie for their formal photo session and casual school wear for their informal shots. The photographer will be taking individual pictures as well as a class picture. You and your son will be able to choose from among several proofs and the individual photograph you prefer to be placed in the yearbook. All fees for the photo session must be collected in advance and turned into Rabbi Brazil by October 18th. All checks in the amount of $50 should be made out to the DRS Yearbook. You will have the opportunity to order additional photos at a later date. Enclosed in this letter is a packet of information that includes an ad request form, and a form requesting your son’s proper English and Hebrew names spelled correctly. The information requests are due no later than November 15th. The last day to place ads in the yearbook is November 30th.
